Steps Consumers Should Take |
What should I do if I have a potentially affected product? |
Contact the Recall Center by email or phone, and tell the operator you would like to participate in the Joytech Wii Power Station Recall. You will then be asked to provide your name and e-mail or mailing address, so that we may send you a pre-paid mailing label, and a Return Form for you to complete and sign. Use the mailing label to return the following items to us:
Within approximately 4 to 6 weeks of the Recall Center’s receipt of the Power Station and completed and signed Return Form, a refund in the amount of £24.99 (if you are a U.K. resident) or €39.99 (if you are a resident of the E.U.) will be issued to you through a Paypal account you designate. back to top |
What if I do not have the receipt? |
| Please include the receipt for purchase of the Power Station, if it is available. However, you will still receive a refund in the amount of £24.99 (if you are a U.K. resident) or €39.99 (if you are a resident of the E.U.) as long as you return the Joytech-brand lithium Power Station base, lithium battery packs, and the completed and signed Return Form. back to top |
What if I want to return the product to the store where I bought it? |
| Unless you purchased your Power Station in Dubai, U.A.E.,1 all returns must be returned to the Recall Center, and not to retailers. By sending you a pre-paid mailing slip, we hope to make the process as easy as possible for you. back to top |
What will the Recall Center do with my personal information used to send the pre-paid mailing slip and issue the refund? |
| We will use your contact information to issue the refund to you and, if necessary, to contact you in connection with this recall. We will also use it to administer the recall program, including to report recall details to government regulators, and to prevent fraud, as required or permitted by law. We may also share your data with third parties, who may use it solely in connection with this recall. back to top |

| We have not received any reports of injuries resulting from this issue. back to top |
I have been using the product without any problems. Can I continue to use it? |
We are glad that you have not had any issues with the product, but problems with the lithium model of the Power Station may arise over time after many uses. Therefore, all owners are urged to participate in the Power Station Recall, even if you have not yet experienced any problems with your lithium model |
I bought a similar product (e.g., a Joytech brand Wii Power Station equipped with rechargeable NiMH batteries), but it is not included in the recall. Should I be concerned about the safety of that product? |
| We do not believe the NiMH-model of the Wii Power Station presents a safety hazard to customers. back to top |
